About Induscript
An open, evidence-led research platform for the Indus script and the possible language(s) behind it.
Induscript investigates the structure, use and possible meanings of Indus inscriptions through transparent evidence, rather than claiming a final decipherment.
The Indus script has no universally accepted decipherment. Any language or semantic reading shown here is a labelled hypothesis, not established fact.
We separate what is observed on an object from what is statistically inferred, functionally hypothesised and semantically proposed.
Understanding may begin with patterns—where signs occur, what they follow, which objects carry them and how those patterns vary across time and place.
The public layer is a museum-like discovery surface. The workspace is a research notebook: collections, analysis runs and labelled hypotheses. Demo records are illustrative until administrators import licensed, source-linked data.
